LifeFix AI (operated by Jasmin Paschel, a sole proprietor based in Arizona, United States) is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use our Service. Questions? Contact us at lifefixsupport@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account data — name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash).
Profile & financial inputs — monthly income, debt payments, primary financial goal, and other figures you enter into the dashboard or onboarding.
Coach conversations — the messages you send to the AI coach and the responses generated.
Usage & device data — pages visited, features used, browser and device type, IP address, and basic telemetry.
Support messages — content of any messages you send to us.
Subscription metadata — plan, status, and billing period (passed to us by Paddle). Paddle handles all payment and card data directly; we do not store card numbers.

Why we use it

Provide the Service — render your dashboard, run the AI coach, save your plan and progress.
Account & subscription management — authentication, entitlements, customer support.
Security & fraud prevention — detect abuse, protect users and the platform.
Service improvement — understand which features help, fix bugs, improve quality.
Communications — service announcements and transactional emails; marketing only with your consent where required by law.
Legal compliance — meet tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases (where applicable)

We process your data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, product improvement), with your consent (where required, e.g. analytics or marketing cookies), and to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

Service providers / subprocessors — cloud hosting, database, AI model providers, email delivery, analytics, and support tooling, acting on our instructions.
Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle is an independent controller for the payment data it collects; see Paddle's Privacy Notice.
Professional advisers — legal and accounting professionals, when needed.
Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email lifefixsupport@gmail.com; we respond within a reasonable period (and within one month for EU/UK users). EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection supervisory authority. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and your data may be processed in the US and other countries where our service providers operate. Where personal data is transferred from the EU/UK to the US or another country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege principles. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and notify us at lifefixsupport@gmail.com of any suspected compromise.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the Service working. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. Where required by law, we will request your consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

Children

The Service is not directed to and may not be used by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
